    Fishing in Hello Kitty Island Adventure is a fun activity that allows players to catch various fish across the island. Here's how you can get started and what to expect:

    How to Unlock Fishing

    1. Friendship with Badtz-Maru: You need to raise your friendship with Badtz-Maru to Level 3 by giving him gifts daily. Higher-quality gifts will speed up the process.
    2. "Keep It Reel" Quest: Once at Level 3 friendship, you'll unlock the "Keep It Reel" quest, which tasks you with crafting a Fishing Rod.

    Crafting the Fishing Rod

    To craft the Fishing Rod, collect these materials:

    • 10x Sticks (found around the island)
    • 3x Thread (obtained from Tuxedosam in exchange for gifts)
    • 1x Gizmo (provided by Chococat in exchange for gifts).

    Use Chococat's Crafting Table to assemble the Fishing Rod.

    Fishing Tutorial

    After crafting the rod, return to Badtz-Maru at the docks for a tutorial. Equip the rod from your Tool Wheel, cast your line into deeper water, and wait for a fish to bite. Reeling in requires keeping a white triangle centered on a curved bar by tapping directional arrows. Avoid letting it hit orange sections, or you’ll lose the fish.

    Fish Locations

    Fish are distributed across different regions of the island and may appear only during specific times of day:

    • Seaside Resort: Includes species like Citrusfin, Coastal Clamfish, and Sunset Guppy.
    • Other regions also feature unique fish depending on water type and time of day.
