Pokémon Legends: Z-A Starters

The starters for Pokémon Legends: Z-A have been officially revealed as Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile. This selection offers a unique blend of Pokémon from different generations:

• Chikorita: A Grass-type Pokémon from Generation 2, known for its leaf on its head that helps detect temperature and humidity. It evolves into Bayleef and then Meganium.
• Tepig: A Fire-type Pokémon from Generation 5, known for its keen sense of smell. It evolves into Pignite and then Emboar, gaining a dual Fire/Fighting typing.
• Totodile: A Water-type Pokémon from Generation 2, known for its strong jaws. It evolves into Croconaw and then Feraligatr.

These starters will be part of an adventure set in a futuristic version of Lumiose City in the Kalos region, with the game expected to release in late 2025. The game will feature Mega Evolutions, but it's unclear if the starters will receive new Mega forms.
